By using ATTARIKH you accept these terms. The paid subscription is additionally governed by the Terms of sale.
1. Access to the service
ATTARIKH is an educational historical atlas. Browsing the map is free and needs no account. Some features (quizzes, favourites, the full timeline) require a free account or a Premium subscription. The service is not intended for children under 16.
2. Your account
You agree to provide accurate details, to keep your password confidential, and to be responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly of any unauthorised use. You can edit your details or delete your account at any time from the account menu.
3. Acceptable use
You may not resell, redistribute or commercially exploit the service or its data, scrape it in bulk, attempt to bypass paid features, share your account to give others paid access, or disrupt its operation. The service is for personal, educational use.
4. Content and accuracy
Historical borders, languages and religions are complex and debated; the maps are simplified for learning and may contain errors or approximations. They are not authoritative and must not be used for legal, political or navigational purposes. You can report an error from within the app.
5. Availability and changes
We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it, and may update, suspend or discontinue features. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. Material changes to these terms will be indicated by the date below.
6. Personal data and law
Your data is handled as described in the Privacy policy. These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory protections of your country of residence.
